As a renowned artist in both the UK and US, as well as an entrepreneur, Peregrine is no stranger to making things happen. Since becoming a trustee in 2011 and later a patron, Peregrine’s experience and enthusiasm for wildlife has helped introduce WVI to a wider audience.
Peregrine’s pictures hang in notable galleries in the UK, USA and South Africa. His portraits of people, yachts and cars also hang in the homes of many notable captains of industry and commerce, as well as those of celebrities in the world of film, theatre and television.
Peregrine is an avid fund raiser and has worked with, and helped raise money for, numerous charities including Alexandra Rose Charity, the Grown Up Congenital Heart Patients Association, Marine Connection (protecting Dolphins and whales worldwide), RSPCA, Battersea Dogs Home, The Rhys Daniels Trust, UNICEF, The Order of Malta, the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth among many others. He has also helped out on behalf of the Chinnor and Princess Risborough Railway near his home in Oxfordshire. As a result, Peregrine is well placed to appreciate the need to raise money for and help WVI.
