Interventions In Wild Animal Health 2024

Marksmanship skills might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of wildlife medicine, but they can be instrumental when it comes to successful immobilisation in the field.

Great to see our Veterinary Advisor and The Toronto Zoo’s Director of Wildlife Health, Dr Nic Masters, safely arrived in India and getting stuck into the anaesthesia and immobilisation component of this year’s Interventions in Wild Animal Health course.

Nic is helping deliver the now well established IWAH course, which is run under the auspices of Wildlife Institute of India, ZSL, Royal Veterinary College, The University of Edinburgh The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary StudiesRand the The University of Melbourne.
