Ever since graduating from Bristol Vet School in 1996, Steve Leonard has combined working as a small animal vet with being a TV wildlife presenter, filming documentaries around the globe for the BBC, ITV and Animal Planet.

Matt Brash

Matt Brash has always had a passion for the care, rehabilitation and return to the wild of wildlife, although he was in general veterinary practice for over twenty years before turning his full attention to working with wildlife and zoo animals.

Lord Cromwell

As an avid childhood watcher of Daktari, the fictional adventures of a vet and his family at an animal behaviour study centre in East Africa, Godfrey Cromwell can claim WVI-style enthusiasm from an early age.

Nicholas Fairfax is a qualified barrister with an impressive background in the private sector, having held various leading positions in the shipping and marine insurance industries during his thirty-year career.

Kate has been a Patron of WVI since its beginnings in 2004. She is perhaps best known for presenting iconic shows such as the BBC's Springwatch and Autumnwatch.
