The work of WVI would not be possible without the support of those Behind the Scenes.

Driving WVI Forward

Executive Director, Olivia Walter , oversees the day to day running of WVI and underpins all the mission driven activities. These are directed by our veterinary directors, Dr John Lewis and Andrew Greenwood. WVI’s Trustees and Working Groups (Fundraising and Finance) ensure that WVI remains on track to make meaningful contribution to the conservation of endangered species.

Sharon Miller is currently the Chair of Trustees, Miranda Stevenson is our Vice Chair, Peter Coe is our Treasurer and chair of the Finance Working Group and Ken Elliott is our Chair of the Fundraising Working Group.

WVI would like to thank the International Zoo Veterinary Group (IZVG LLP) whose provision of an office and administrative services enables the majority of funds raised to go towards the field.

Oliver Walter

Olivia is eminently well qualified to manage WVI affairs. Following an Honours degree in Zoology at Edinburgh University, she started work as a small mammal keeper at ZSL London Zoo...

Andrew Greenwood

A few years after qualifying as a vet, Andrew formed the UK based International Zoo Veterinary Group to provide freelance veterinary services across the world.

Dr John Lewis

John graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School and went on to do a PhD in Oncology at the University of London.

Sharon Miller MSc

Sharon founded Wildlife Vets International in 2004, and is Chair of the Trustees. She brings with her a wide range of experience in business, politics and science.

Dr. Miranda Stevenson OBE, MBA

A biologist by training, Miranda is passionate about conservation and the protection of biodiversity.
