Virtual Veterinary Conference 2023

Join us on Thursday 14 December as we have THREE awesome talks at the Virtual Veterinary Conference 2023 and they have kindly nominated us again to be the conference charity.

Our Nepalese colleague, Dr Amir Sadaula, NTNC, will be talking about the elephant vestibulotomy that occured earlier this year in Nepal. This operation was lead by Dr Bijay Kumar Shresthra, senior veterinarian at Chitwan National Park, and included Dr Sadaula and Dr Nic Masters who happened to be in Nepal, visiting, at the time.

Veterinary Advisor Dr Nic Masters moved from the UK to Canada to take up position as Director of Wildlife Health at Toronto Zoo. Dr Masters will be talking to us about his new adventures putting wildlife medicine into conservation breeding programmes of native Canadian species, such as the Eastern massasauga rattlesnake.

As a teaser to what we will be celebrating next year, WVI's Executive Director, Olivia Walter, will be looking back at what Wildlife Vets International has acheived in our 20 years, how the need has changed and a glimpse on what we will be doing in the next 20 years (with your help).

It is a free conference and the organisers are suggesting a £20 donation to WVI in lieu of a delegate fee.

Sign up soon!
