The team of 15 wildlife warriors who signed up to the Chiltern Challenge - successfully completed it on 23rd September. The event was a huge success and was the 1st time WVI had registered our charity with the Ultra Challenge Series. Heather and her fabulous team from Pawfit Physio completed the 25k and the remaining nine completed the 50k. We were delighted that WVI patron Steve Leonard and his wife Cathy joined the team, setting a very fast pace indeed. Vet students Meg and Tom stepped it up another gear and ran their 50k!

Despite the challenges, the weather was kind, the countryside beautiful, the company great and overall the event was very well resourced and managed. If we get enough interest it may well become an annual event. Everyone finished their distances in good time and really appreciated a cosy WVI Wildlife Warrior hoodie at the end, our thank you for taking on an epic challenge and fundraising for WVI.

The team exceeded the fundraising target and collectively raised £6,227. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and especially to their family, friends and colleagues who supported them in their training.
